FOOTBALL ACCIDENTS.
(PEH FBESB ASSOCIATION.) Masterton, Juno 12. Several serioua accidents occurred in the Star-Masterton football match, played here on Saturday last. Edgar Holmwood had a kidney ruptured by a kick, and is in a critical condition ; R. J. Malcolm injured a kneecap, and will be unable to play again this season ; Vennel had a shoulder blade broken. (per press association). Wellington, This Daj Wilson, of Wellington, for many years a Canterbury rep., has received the necessary leave, and ioins the N.Z. Rugby Union team for Australia.
