The Albu Concert Company
The Misses Albu, who will make their first appearance before a Feilding audience on Saturday next, at the Assembly Rooms, are two exceedingly talented vocalists, who have been touring Australia for some months past with considerable success. Miss Julie Albu, who at 24 years of age, took scholarships at the Royal College of Music, and Miss Rose Albu, who is 22 years old, is an Exhibitioner of the Guildhall Royal School of Music. Dame Nature bns been liberal in her personal gifts to the young ladies, who, apart from the attractions of their ait, are described as possessing a charm of manner and naturalness quite refreshing. Indeed they have been social successes whereever they have gone, and letters received from the Earl of Hopetoun, the Earl of Jersey, Sir Henry Norman, and others, are of a most interesting character. The Misses Albu will be assisted by a full company of artists, who are now playing to crowded houses. Mr Bosco Wilson, the agent of the company, arrived in Feilding by the express to-day to make the necessary arrangements.
