.+- (per peess association.) London, May 28. The Antwerp wool sales will be held from the sth to the 10th June. About 13,000 bales of River Plate and 2100 bales of Australian wool have been catalogued for the series. Two Australian cargoes sold at 29s 6d to 29a 9d. A cargo by the ship Dorothea from Ljttelton (21st January) sold at 265, The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 89,126,000 bushels. Owing to the season being much earlier than usual, and a large influx of soft fruits from the Continent, colonial lruit is bringing low pneea. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 26th in9t. :— Frozen Meats. — Mutton market firmer ; Canterbury mutton is worth 4%d per 1b ; other quotations unchanged since last telegram. New Zealand lamb. — There is a rather better demand ; prime New Zealand iambs are worth per carcase s£d per lb. Tallow.— There is no demand, save for the lower sorts, ior ©sport, and for edible beef tallow, Fine mutton tallow is worth 32s per cwt (quotations nominal) ; good beef tallow, 29s Gd. Hemp— Market quiet. Medium NewZealand is worth £21 10s per tou.
