The committee appointed to class the shots and allocate the prizes for the shooting on the Queen's Birthday have arranged the classes as follows : — Class A. — Lieutenant Bray, Sergeants Saywell, Petherick, and Aitken ; Corporal Saywell ; Volunteers Scott, T. Evans, J. Evans, Stevens, F. Lethbridgeand Parker. Prizes for Class A to fire for — Mr Light's box of cigars, Mr Martin's pair of trousers, Saywell Bros.' set of carvers, Lieutenant Bray's pipe, Mr i Belfifs whip, Mr Carthew's album, I Mr J H. Worsfold's 10s, Mr Burlace's j i hat, Mr Garratt's brushes and rack, Mrs Olliver's dressing-case, and Mr Allen's lamp. Class B. — Captain Kirton, Lieutenant Burlace ; Corporal Pleasants ; Volunteers Robinson, Dougherty, G. Lethbridge, Coombe and Henson. Prizes for Class B to fire for — Mr Blackmore's binocular glasses, Bramwell Bros.' tea set, Mr Scott's watch-ham, Mr Fowle's pipe, Mr ColHn's spurs, Mr Eado's picture, Mr Omar's clock, and Mr Hickford's clock. Class C. — The whole of the members of the corps, except those whose names appear under the heads of classes A and B. Prizes for Class C. to fire fot— Mr Thacker's pair of boots, Mr Morey's parcel of drapery value 20s, Mr Attwood's one dozen cabinet photos, Mr Cobbe's hat, Mr F. Bray's pipe, Mr Milson's album, Mr Giesen's 10s, Mr Hamilton's silk handkerchief, Mr Shearer's inkstand, Mr A. R. Curtis's books, Mr Eraser's teapot, Leng Kee's two trays, Quong Lee's ornament, Mr J. C. Thompson's table bell, Chamberlain Bros., 501 b bag of flour, Mrs Day's prize, Mr Svendsenis pair of slippers, Mr P. Thompson's prize, and Mr Hoskin's prize. The following are the handicaps for the final competition for Captain Kirton 's binocular glasses : — Scrgeaut Saywell, Corporal Saywell, Volunteers Parker and Scott, scratch ; Sergeant Petherick 7 points, and Volunteer Robinson 8 points.
