Mr Svendscn, boot and slice importer, has just opened up v fresh consignment of boots, shoes, etc. A new advertisement from that popular drapery emporium, the Bon Marche, will appuar in our next issue. The time-table for tho Pemberton coaches appears in another column, in Mrs Oliver's advertisement. Mi- Thacker, of the Feilding boot and shoe depot, has a new advertisement in to-day's issue. A notice of application for a publican's license at Bunnythorpe is published today by Mr Walter Axel Evenseu. Tho application will bo heard at the meeting of the Licensing Committee to be held at Ashurst on June 9th. Mr John Cobbe has imported, per Ruahine, 21 men's and youth's famous " Aquam Vinco" Macintoshes ; also, per Indramnyo, 26 men's " Tropical Odourless " Macintoshes — all sewn seams and guaranteed quality.
