In loving memory of our ilenr father, Soloman Evans, who departed this life on 18th May, 1«^. "We miss theo from our home, dear father — We miss thee from our plnoe ; A shadow o'er our life is cast, We miss the sunshine of thy face. We miss thy kind and willing ban;!, Thy fond and earnest care; Our home is dark without tliee — We ruiaa thee everywhere. We shall always think of father, Though we live to see old n«;e ; We shall ne'er forget the parting By his sad and silent grave. We laid his hands down by his sido, And kissed his cold, cold brow ; And in our aching hearts we know We have no father now. One year today, our father dear, Thy face we'll never see ; But with thy family's dearest love We will remember thee. Gone, but not forgotten. Inserted by his loving family.
