Pohangina Road Board Loans
. + The Pobangina Road Board notify their intentiou to raise the following loans under The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, for the construction of the following works, in No. 4 Ward of the said Pohangina Road District :•— l. To construct and metal the Pohangina Valley Road, including bridges, from the northern boundary of No. 2 Ward to the northern boundary of No. 4 Ward, about 870 chains, £4,695 6s. 2. To construct and metal the Opawa road, from Pohan<?ina Valley Road to north-eastern boundary of section 9, block VII, Pohangina, about 860 chains, £1,404 10s ; total, £6.099 16s 6d. For payment of interest at 5 per cent, for 26 years on the above amounts under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," it is proposed to levy a special rate of tenpence halfpenny in the £ on the whole of the rateable property within No. 4 Ward of the Pohangina Road Board. It is also proposed that the cost of raising loans and the first year's interest on same be paid out of loans.
