His features were a good deal altered tho change being made roally by shaving tho beard and raoustacho, and leaving only short side whiskore, djed black , but the voice and bandwriting wero unmistakable. Though taxed with being Kitchen, Vane repeatedly domed this until cornered this afternoon. A warrant was issued against William Kitchen for wife desertion. Wellington, May 10. The Union Steam Shipping Company has declared a dividend for the half year at the rate of 6 per cent per annum. The profits on the h&\{ year amounted to £11,426. Loir, late of Norsewood, who recently took the Star Hotel here, fell from a fire escape this afternoon, receiving fatal injuries to the bead. Death was instantaneous.
