Messrs Abraham and Williams report that at their Levin yards Tuesday a small but choice selection of young steers * came forward, together with a few old milkers. Both lots were cleared apfiodlly at quotations. Sheep- m moderate numbers, the almost total absence of gummy old ewes left a usetul class for purchasers choice. A ready sale existed throughout, everything being disposed of at auction. Cattle.— lß months to 2 year steers, £2 17s6dfco £3 8s; old to medium milch cows, £4 to £5, Sheep.^Store wethers, 9s tid to 1 is! 6jl j shorn lambs, 5s 4d ; those In wool, ips lOd ; ewes mixed ages, 5s to 6s sd.
