Wellington Land Board
The regular meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held last Thursday. Preseut — The Commissioner and Messrs Fisher, Fitzherbert, and Fred Pirani. The following applications to obtain titles were approved of :— H. C. Oldham, section 45, block XI, Apiti ; W. Mc Williams, section 7, block til, Apiti ; E W. Pemberton, section 3, block 111, Apiti ; J. Stent, section 24, block 111, Apiti', E. M. Beilski, aection 23, block IV, Apiti ; E. Moore, section 66, block VI, Apiti ; J. G-ukl, section 56 } block VII,- Apiti ;_R *: \ J - Burton, section 7, block XII, Apiti , J. P. Jensen, Bection 90, block AIV, Apiti j J. Rea. section 30, block IX, Ongo ;E. Jolly, section 4, b lock AY, Ongo ; Nelson, section 53, block 111, Pohangina ; G. A. Lyne, section 45, block X, Pohangina. Application for title not approved, and conditions not complied with :— ' E. N. E. Calthrop, section 14, block IX, Apiti. Application of J. Johnson for section 10, block XI, Apiti, was apS roved, provided he satisfied the oard that he had resided on the land •inee the transfer. Application of A. W. H. Wickcns for title for aection 36, Apiti, was approved, provided he proves the house has cost £70, as the ranger reported improvements £20 short of requirements. Applications for transfers approved —Watson and Signal to E. J. Rose, section 59, block VII, Apiti. Mr Wickens applied to sublet section 30 of block XIV, Pohangina, and it was decided to ask his reason for it.
