(PKB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) London, April 26. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 8,728,000 quarters, and for the Continent, 1,184,000 quarters. At the wool sales prices are firmer. Tho competition for medium sorts is keener. Share quotations :— Bank of New Zealand, new issue, £7 10s ; old issue, £5 10s. National Bank of New Zealand, £1 ss. April 27. New Zealand 4 per cent inscribed stock, 105 ; 2"- per cent ditto, 97. Canterbury mutton, ex Coptio, 4. New Zealand long- berried wheat is steady at 80s. South Australian wheat is quiet at 33s 3d. Victorian also is quiet at 33. The American visible supply of wheat is 96,900,000 bushels. A South Australian wheat cargo was sold at 29s 4sd. At the wool sales prices are firm, excepting for high class greasies, which are weak. There is a strong demand for lambs' wool.
