(FROM OUR OWN CO-RESPONDENT. J A meeting of householders was held in the schoolbonse on Monday for the purpose of electing a school committee. Mr E. Nix presided. The attendance was limited owing to the wet weather. The following gentlemen were nominated and duly elected — Messrs E. Nix, E. Miller, G. Miller, H. Osborne, and D. Curtis. A hearty vote of thanks was given to Mr Cummerfield for his past valuable services as secretary since the formation of the school committee, and regret was expressed that he did not offer himself for re-election. A meeting of the committee was held afterwards when Mr E. Nix was elected chairman, and Mr E. Miller secretary.; . . It is the intention of our warden to resign his position on the road board.
