Messrs George Thomas and Co, report produce prices as follows :— A qniet week, unaccompanied by any change in leading lines may be correetlj' noted. Flour (roller), still commands £8 10s, and stone process £7 15s to £8 per ton ; prime fowls wheat is firm at 2s 6d per bus ; bran, 65s ; pollard, 755 ; wheat meal, £8 10s ; prime short pats has steady enquiry at 2s Id to 2s 2d ; ioag feed, Is lid to 2s ; oatmeal, £10 10s to I'll ; oaten sheaf chaff, 75s to 80s ; feed barley, 2s 6d ; maize, 4s 6d ; beans, 3s 6d ; blue peas, 3s 9d ; pearl barley, £i 9 10s ; split pens, 14s ; ryegrass seed, 3s to 3s 9d ; cocksfoot, 3d to 3£d per 1b; prime Derwent potatoes, 65s ; onions, 80s; factory cheese, 5Jd ; hams and bacon scarce at l\d to 8d per Ib ; eggs, Is 6d to Is 9d ; freeh butter overstocked, and ruling at 5d to 8d for fresh, and 7s to 8d for salt. Poultry is very dull of sale, fowls being only worth 2s 6d ; ducks, 3s 6d ; turkeys, 7s ; geese, 5a per pair. Fungus is still in fair request at 3d per lb. The fruit market has been fully supplied. Fair supplies of pears, apples, and quinces, have, been sold at rather lower rates. Very large shipments of Tahiti and Friendly Island oranges are looked for on Monday, which, we regret, will come to a very poor market.
