The United Farmers Alliance (Limited) report on their sale yesterday as follows : — We had not a large entry of stock at our sale yesterday, and buyers operated with caution, but most of the stock changed hands before leaving the yards. We quote. Cattle. — 2i-yr heifers in calf L 3 18s 6d ; milch cows, L 3 lis to Ll 18s; heifers just calved. L 4 IDs. Sheep.— 2 full mouth ewes Os ; fat ewes, 9s Gd ; ewes mixed ages, 7s 9d to Bs. Messrs Abraham and Williams sold at Colyton on Wednesday the farm and stock of Messrs W. H. and G. A. Bailey. Mr A. Goldfinch purchased the farm at £9 5s an aore. The attendance at the sale was not largo, but there was good I competition and all lines were speedily disposed of under the hammer. Mr Jackson, auctioneer of the firm, con-« ducted the sale. There was a few cattle sold. Shorn lambs brought Gs, aged ewes os, 2>-tooth ewes lis, 2*tooth wethers 9s lid lo 10s Id.
