FEILDING EACES. Below are the results of the races which were decided after we went to press on Tuesday last. The meeting was by far the most successful which the Feilding 1 Jockey Club has ever held. The sum of I £'6480 was put through the machine dnr--1 ing the day, making with ±3628 which was turned over on Monday, a total of £7108 for the two days, being £2024 more than went through last Easter Meeting. Two much praise cannot be given to the various officials, who carried' 'but their duties in a most able manner, and the handicapping as usual was very successful, nearly every horse in each event being well backed. The behaviour of the spectators was excellent, not a single «a*e : of misconduct being reported by the police s oh either day. At the close of the racing, I three hearty cheers were .given to the I handicapper, starter, judge, secretary, and i stewards. The different privilege holders t all did well, and must have made a good 1 thing out of their respective ventures. The catering in the public refreshment and dining room under the stand was in ; the hands of Mr Bilderbeck, who provided i an excellent spread. Mr T. Meeban, the caretaker of the course, deserves credit . for his supervision of the Banie. » 345 pm.-5. Boulanger had slightly the worst of the start, and was never able to quite get on i terms with the other two horses, who . fought out a great finish, Musket winning all out by a short neck, from Monte Catlo . with Boulanger a bare half length away third.
