This Day. (Before Mr. Brabant, R.M.) Goodbehere and Richmond v E. M. L. Neilsen ; claim £27 2s 6d. M r Prior for the plaintiffs, and Mr Sandilanris for the defendant. Judgment was given for the sum of £20 by arrangomoufc between the parties, with costs of court 15s, and solicitors fee 2 1 3. William Bellve v Hori te Mataku ; claim £3 15s Gd. Mr Reado for tho plaintiff. Judgment for tho amount claimed, with 17s costs of couit. A Gray v Thomas Curran ; claim £2 IGs. Mr Richmond for tho plaintiff There was no appearonco of either part}, and tho case wus struck out at tho re* quest of counsel. J. F. llai ns yW. Fisher ; claim €28. Mr Snndilands for tho plaintiff. Wells; claim £5 19s. Mr fiichmor.d for tho plaintiff. The claim was Juo on a dishonored cheque. There was no appearance of the defendant, nnd judgment wr t s given for l ho plaintiff for 'ho amount claimed with costs 10s, and solicitor's fee 21s. J. 11. Ashworth charged John Duncan with having an unregistered dog in his possession. Mr Sandilands appeared for the plaintiff. Tho defendant was fined 20s with 7s costs, half the fine to go to the informant. Jane Johnson, of Wanganni, charged William Lowe, of Feilding, with being the father of her illegitimate child, and applied for an affiliation order Against the defendant. Mr Lloyd for the plaintiff. The defendant did not appear, but admitted tho paternity of the child, and consented to pay the sum of 7s 6d a week towards its support. The defendant was ordered to pay 7s 6d a week to the Clerk of tho Court at Feilding, together with 18 the costs of the girl's confinement, and M' 2 2s solicitor's fee. Tho police charged William Gosling with allowing his chimney to get on fire on tho 3rd instant. The defendant was fined 5s with 7s costs of court. U. and A. Green v. jWilliam Whisker claim X'2o. Mr Sandilands for the plaintiff said that, the chum was for use and occupation of a house which the plaintiffs now sought to obtain possession of. His Worship said that the defendant must show eati3e why he should not give up possession. The defendant said that his son and not himself was the tenant. His Worship under section 82 of the 8..M. Act, 1867, issued an order for the defendant to give up possession of the property within three days, with 15s costs of cour:, and 21? solicitor's fee. [Left sit I in,'.]
