PAHIATUA V. FEILDING AND DISTRICT. A scratch team journeyed from Feilding to I'alnatua to play that Club yesterday. Tho coach was supplied by Mr Bradford, nnd tho eleven left Feilding about 6.30 on Thursday evening. Tho outing was a most enjoyable one. though from a cricketer's point of view it was not a succoss. Nearly every ono of tho Paluatua mon got into double figures Tho visitors were unable to make any sort of a stand against tho bowhug of Hewitt and Chambers, as tho following scores will show : — Pahiatoa. — Bottomlev, 11 ; Chambers, 42; D. A most inteiestlug gamo resulted in a closo aud exciting finish, victory ultimately resting with tho school boys by a majority of 3 runs only. The scores were : — State School, first innings 37, second innings 90, total, 127. Town Boys, first innings 58, second innings 66, total 124.
