Truda Bros. Concert Company

Thi9 talented Company gave two excellent performances in the Feilding As sembly Rooms yesterday and Tuesday evoningy. They are good all round, and there is not a weak member amongst them. i»-Mdllo Boaufort they possess a lady with a wonderful contralto voice, hor upper notes ringing out clear aud sonorous as from, a trumpet, and her lower { ones must bo hoard to bo appreciated. Tho overture from " Martha " was played in a faultless manner by tho Bros. Ti uda, I j their execution being marvellous and ! stamping the quartotto as artistes of tho vory first rank. " Ora pro nobis " was splondidly sung by Miss Beaufort, and m response to an enthusiastic encore this lady gavo " The Vulture- " in an excellent manner. A trio for tho flute, burp, and violin was ono of the gems of tho even ing, tho urtistos treating thou 1 audience . to a raio performance which wo venture to s-«y, has noynr been oscolled on tho^o instalments in New Zealand. The flute, piccolo, violin, and harp solos woro all rondored in a manner which loft nothing to bo desired, except a lopetitiou of each item and a dosuo to hear tnoro. Mr j Shoridau is an elocutionist of moro than ordinary ability. Unfortunately tho audionces woro very poor, no doubt owing to tho short interval which elapsed betweon the advertising nnd dato of tho performances. Thoso who wero present hud tho pleasure of listening to an entertainment suponor to anything hitherto placed before a Feilding audiunce, and were well repaid for their trouble
