NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. WOODVILLE RACES, 29th March, 1893. ON WEDNESDAY, 29th March, a Special Passenger Train will leave Marton at 7.35 a.m., Halcombe 8.20 a.m., Feilcling 8.50 a.m.. Palmerston 9.40 a.m., Woodville arrive 10.50 a.m. ; returning leaving Woodville at 6.20 p.m., Palmerston at 7.40 p.m., Feilding 8.20 p.m. ; arriving at Marton at 9.40 p.m. ; stopping at any intermediate station if required. Excursion Tickets to Woodville (first-class 4/-, second-class 2/6) will be issued at Palmerston by this train, available for return on day of issue only. BY ORDER. EASTER HOLIDAYS. T^XCURSION TICKETS will be l\i issued as below from 28th March to 3rd April (inclusive), available for return up to, and including, TUESDAY, 18th April, 1893 :— Ist 2nd class class To Wellington, from Palmerston ... 20/- 15/To Wellington, from Feilding ... 22/- IG/To Napier, from Palmerston ... 22/G 16/6 To Napier, from Feilcling ... 2-V- 18/The journey must be commenced on day of issue, and may be broken at any station at which the train stops after travelling 20 miles from the original starting station. The time for which the above Excursion Tickets are available for return will, if application be made before the date of expiry at the station to which they are issued, be extended for a further period of fourteen days on payment of the differences between the ordinary single and half the excursion fare. Ordinary return Tickets for distances of 20 miles and under, issued from 28th March to 3rd April, will also be available for return till 18th April. GOOD FRIDAY, MARCH 31, 1893. The ordinary time-table will be suspended, with the exception of following {rains :— The 7 a.m., New Plymouth to Wellington ; the 6.30 a.m., Wellington to New Plymouth ; the 7 a.m., Wanganui to Palmerston ; the | 5.30 p.m., Palmerston to Wanganui ; ' the 10.45 a.m., Napier to Palmerston ; j the 11.55 a.m., Palmerston to Napier; ' the 8.35 a.m., Danevirke to Palmersj ton ; and the 5.10 p.m., Palmerston to i Danevirke. j Trains will connect between Wanganui and Aramoho, and between Sentry Hill and Waitara, with mail trains. Trains between Palmerston and Wellington run as usual. FEILDING RACES, | 3rd and 4th Apkil. On Monday, April 3rd, and Tuesday, 4th April, the train usually leaving Foxton at 9 a.m. will on eacli day leave Foxton at 8.30 a.m., running 30 minutes earlier than usual to Palmerston, and will leave Palmerston at 10. 10 a.m. for Feilding, arriving there at 10.50 a.m. ; returning from Feilding at 6.20 p.m., Palmerston 7.10 p.m., arriving Foxton at 8.40 p.m. The usual 5.5 p.m. train, Palmerston to Foxton, will on these days be cancelled.
