Messrs Gorton and Son report on tbeir Bull's sale as follows :—They hid a goo<f attendance at their horse sale: at Bull'l on the 18 instant. A splendid lot of horses were got together to . be brought . under the hammer all of. them -.- being ia, excellent condition, those' from the Cm* naryon estate exceptionally soY The* thorough bred yearlings belonging to-Mt Scott were all broken to* lead'' and Wire most tractable and did him great credit : The sale commenced on horses .bred on. the Carnarvon estate, and, though ire were not able to quit all, we sold several ihe prioes varying from £8 to £20. Tfb/ of Mr Gillie's youngsters were sold tor £11 and £12. We were not so fortunate in the sale of Mr Scott's horses of excellent quality and high breeding, though somo good bids were given they did not come up to the vendors expectation and we only sold two youngsters at 10 and 12 guineas. The well-known mare Veracity being passed in at £150. Hurdle horse Defence received attention and the bids ran up to £115 and he was passed in fat. £150.
