In the match against the Rangiiikei Rifles on Wednesday next there to be a slight alteration in the Manchester team, as Vol. Stevens drops out, and Vols. T. Evans, Robinson, and Dougherty are included in the same, the match being ten men aside, and not eight, as published in our Saturday's issue. In connection with the camp at Johnsonvilie, the following is an extract from the order issued by Lieut. -Col. Newall, who is in command of the Wellington district: — "All arms proceeding to the ciinp at Johnsonvillo will pnrnde in •' drill order " (and this will be the only order of dress worn throughout the camp) with great coats and leggings ,• n)so, haversack j containing knife, fork, spoon, pialo ami ] pannikin. The baggage, consisting ot blankets, water-proof sheet, socks, Annnel shirt, towel, soap, and brushes will be neatly made up and labelled, collected at their respective drill sheds, and conveyed to railway stations by expresses arranged for by officers commanding corps. The camp will last from the evening of Thursday, the 30th March, to the evening of Wednesday, the 3rd April. The Commandant, Colonel Fox, has intimated bis intention of being present in camp at Johnson ville. Every member of the Manchester Rifles is expected to be present nt the inspection parade to be held in the Assembly Rooms next Thursday evening, when final arrangements will be made relative to their preparations for the encampment. Tho following are the handicaps for Lieut Kirton's and Mr Magee's medals to be fired for to morrow :—S**rgt Savwoll, Corpl Saywell, and Vol Scotf, scratch ; Yols Stevens and Parker, 2 points , Vols T. and J. Evans, and Corpl Aitkcn. 5 points; Serct Pethorick, 6 points; Yd Bobinson, 8 points ; Yols D mghorty and G. Lethbndge, 12 points. The volunteers' encampment at Dunedin has been practically abandoned, chiefl.v owing to a decision not to run any special trains, and also be ciuse many volunteers would Irive to bo absent from their homes from Thursday morning till : Tuesday night. I The liuntetvillo Riflo Association has challenged tho Manchester Rifles to fire a friendly match, the teams to consist of fifteen mon a side, tho total number of shots not to exceed 15, tho match to take place nnytimo aFter tbe 15 h April, a Wednesday or Saturday prefcrrod. We regret to loam that Vol Thomas Evans is very ill. This will prevent his firing in tho match to-morrow against the Marton Rojal Rifles.
