The weather was beautifully fine for the above meeting, which was held at Sandon yesterday, It is estimated that there must have been close upon 1400 people present during the day. The following is the result of the rncing : — Flying Stakes Handicap, of 50 son ; Veracity, 1 ; Beeswing, 2 ; Seabird, 3. Handicap Hurdle Kace. — Allegretto, 1 ; Defence, 2 ; Huia, 3. Trial Hurdles.— Harold, 1 ; D.irky, 2; Whitikaraua, 3, Sandon Handicap. — Hark, 1 ; .Southern Queen, 2 ; Ivarainoa, 3. Maiden Flat Race. — Ajax, 1 ; Auroa, 2 ; Beeswing, 3. Tramway Handicap. — Defence, 1 ; Voracity, 2 ; Seabird, 3. Forced Handicap. — Lady Clair, 1 ; Cruiskeen, 2 ; live, 3. £2461 passed through tho totahsator during the day.
