The Farmers' Alliance report as follows :— We held a very successful sale at Feilding on Friday, although it rained hard without Btopping the whole day. Every pen in the yard* *fc« filled with cuttle and sheep. Notwithstandifigt tbe heavy rain there wa« a good attentt-* ance of buyers, and bidding for cattle; was good throughout, resulting in the gale of all the cattle except six head, The bidding for sheep was slow at first, but improved as the sale went on, so thit ail but a few lota were sold before leaving the yards. . : Cattle.— 2-year steers, L8 to L37s 6d ; 18-month heifers, L 3 Is ; 18-month steers, L 3 is; yearlings, L2 3s to L 8 16s ; wcaners, LI 7s to LI 15s; milch cows, L 3 13s 6d to L4. :.- Sheep— 2-tooth ewes, 9s 103 to J2s; woolly lambs, 6s lOd to 7s 2d ; circs, raise j ages, 8s to 10s 5d ; wethers, 9s to 10.4 4d ; shorn lambs, small, 4a 9d, to 6%*, Mr Pharaaya'a rams made from 2 Hrguineas ;Mr Steward's Is. guineas } Mr Oldham's from 5s to 15s.
