« [FBOM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] The weather on Saturday last was about as rough as it is possible to be. Hail, rain, wind, thunder and lightning, but the Farmers Club braved the elements and several members brought to the school house some tine specimens of farm produce, flowers etc. The Club is gain- \ ing members at each meeting and will soon bo a strong body. The "Service of Praise" and Harvest Festival is to take place on Sunday next at the Wcsleyan Church. Donations of fruit, tlowers, produce, dairy exhibits etc, will be thankfully received at the Church on Saturday. The service in the evening will be conducted by Mr Birks and Mr Harry Tolley. The choir will bo strengthened by friends from adjoining churches and district. It is proposed to send the donations of produce etc. to the hospital I at Wanganui. The Literary Society will meet on Saturday evening at 7.U0,
