Feilding Assessment Court

Mr Brabant, R.M., sat iv the Court House this day to hear objections from ratepayers in respect to their valuations. Mr Hill appeared for the Borough. Robert Halley objected to his assess- 1 ment in regard to five sub- divisions of section 292, and the amount was reduced from £72 to £57. G. T. H. Lyne had his assessment reduced from £32 £31. The name J. G. Cobbe was substituted for that of Theodore Kitchen for sections 606 and 607. William Gruar assessed at £130 in respect of sections 129 and 131 did not appear, and the valuation was sustained. This was all the business.
