(PER I'RESS ASSOCIATION.) London, February 19. Tho wool sales closed with good spirit. Prices, compared with December sales, were — Merino, greasy, hi ; superior lambs, 2d ; inferior, M ; good overajje sorts, from Ad to Id higher. Burry inferior were from par to \d lower ; crossbreds, coarse, from par to M lusher. It is expected that 350,000 bales will be available for the April series. | The quantity of wool catalogued to date is 275,000 bales, of which 160,000 bales were taken tor export and 98,000 for Home trade. Some 32.400 bale3 are held over till the next sales.
