♦ Messrs Lowes and lorns' Stock Sale Report. — At oar sale on Wednesday last there was a large catalogue of sheep, with plenty of buyers. Every pen of good stock elicited fair competition, bat, with the exception of fat, ail lines were easier in price. Fall-month and old ewes suffered the most seriously. For lambs the enquiry was good, but compared with last season's prices there was a decline of 28. Fat wethers, lls to 12s 6d ; maiden ewes, 10s sd ; good-mouth breeding ewes, 7s 2d ; other qualities, from 8s 6d to 6s 6d ; two-tooth wethers, good, from 9s 6d to 10 ; four-tooth 10s lOd to lls ; fat, lambs, 8s 6d ; good forward lambs, 7s ; others from 8s 6d to 6s 6d. Old rams sold from 10s to 40s. Cattle sold well and folly maintained late rates. Hacks to £9. The United Farmer*' Alliance. Limited, report on Thursday's sale at PaU merßton as follows: -We held oar usual fortnightly stock sale, There was a large attendance of buyers. About 350 cattle and 3500 sheep yarded, most of which sold at or immediately after the sale. The following prices were realised : — - Cattle.— Fat bullocks L 7 ss ; fat cows, medium quality, L5 ; 3- year steers, L 5 ss ; heifers in calf, Li 13* to L 4 17s ; mixed cows. L4 Is to L 5 7s; 18tnos, heifers, L3 2s to L 3 12*. Sheep. — Full*moutb ewes 7s to 8s ; old ewes, 3s lOd to 5s 64 ; two-tooth wethers (black faced). 8s lid; 2- tooth ewes ditto, 9s ; two tooth ewes, lls lOd ; mixed lambs, 6s 3d ; old rams, LOs to 2ls.
