NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order will be proposed and confirmed at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board to be held on SATURDAY, the 11th day of ; February, 1893, viz :— That it is the intention of the Manchester Road Board, under the provisions of "The Loans to Local Boiies Act, 1886," and under and by virtue of a Warrant is* sued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand dated the 21st day of July, 1892, authorising I the Manchester Road Board to conI struct a Bridge over the Oroua River, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, to borrow the sum of £1042 for the purpose of providing firetwelfths of the cost_of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Oroua River at Aorangi on the Feilding-Bunny thorpe Road,and making tbeapproaches thereto, and all other work necessary for the due completion of the said Bridge, in accordance with the above-men-tioned warrant ; and that a Special Rate of one-fiftieth of a penny in tho £ be made upon the rateable value of \ the whole of the Rateable Property | (Crown and Native lands occupied by | Native owners excepted) within the Manchester Road District for the purpose of paying the interest on the above loan of £1042, to be borrowed under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," such Rate to be an annual recurring rate for 26 years, and payable, in equal instalments, at tho Board's Office, on the first day of April and October in each, year.
