Honors to Americans
When foreigners of distinction pay us a visit it is pleasant to see such generous recognition as is contained in tha following :- -We, the undersigned, take pleasure in saying we have seen the credentials of Mrs Longshore-Potts and J. Chns. Harrison, M.D., consisting of articles of a strongly commendatory character, from most of the leading papers of London and the provincial cities of the United Kingdom, and also from most of the papers in the largest cities of the United States, New Zealand and Australia; also personal letters of endorsement from distinguished Americans such as Mrs Harrisou, wife of the President of the United States, and Mrs T. A. Hendrick, widow of the late vice- President of the United States, Senators, and ministers of the gospel of prominence, etc. Mrs Dr Potts and Dr Harrison are to deliver a series of lectures, and from the above credentials we feel justified in saying these lectures will be productive of much good in their j moral and educational influence. It will be to men only. Tuesday afternoon Mrs Dr Potts will deliver the first of five lectures to women only. Both introductory lectures will be free. Next Friday night Mrs Dr Potts will deliver her famous address "Hearts and Homes" to both sexes.
