The New Zealand Trust and Loan Company's 5 por cent cum, prof, are at £26 ; Australian and Now Zealand Mortgage Company's -iX, £99; Dalgety's 4j, £112 10s ; New Zoaland Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's fours, £94. The total quantity of wool arrived up to date ib 387,000 bales, of which 108.000 bales haye been sent forward to the manufacturing districts. With the quantity held over from last series, 287,000 bales will be available for the ensuing series. Nelson Bros, have declared a dividend of 10 per cent, The Duko of Westminster's cargo of meat has arrived in fair condition. At the wool sales to-day 15,000 bales were offered. For crossbreds the competition was keen, but for merinos prices were uneven. Inferior wools were slightly weaker. Victorian sold at 8d to lid. January 27. The bank rate of discount was reduced as a concession to the London Joiot Stock Banks, which wore losing money on deposits through allowing interest only one-half per cent below the minimum,
