An impounding notice appears to-day. Mr J. S, Milson, bookseller, has a roplace advertisement in to-day. Mr YV. A. Sandilands advertises 500 acre« of bush land for sale on easy terms. There will be a meeting of St. John's Vestry on Monday next, in Mr Bray's office, at 4.15 p.m. The Town Clerk, Mr G. 0. Hill, invites applications for the right to collect the dog-tax in the Borough of Ffiilding for the current year. The Rev. W. J. Watkin is announced to preach in the Wesleyan Church tomorrow evening, taking for his subject, " The Kingdom of Christ." All accounts due and owing to Me.wsrs Pickering and Co., of Fergusson street, butchers, must be paid on or before the 30lb instant, as the partnership of the firm is about to be dissolved. Mr "William Heald, contractor etc, Fergusson street, Feilding, has an advertisement hi this days's issue, to which we would draw the attention of the public. Ho has a large stock of sashes, doors, mouldings, and other building requisites always on hand. A notice from the Commissioner of Taxes, Mr C. M. Crombie, is published today, intimating that the respective duties by way of Income Tax should bo paid, in one sum, on Tuesday the iJlsfc instant, at the office of the Commissioner Wellington. All accounts due to Mr S. J. Thompson, formorly of the lied House, must be paid within a week from to-day, or they will be sued for. There will bd no exceptions made, therefore persons indebted should take advantage of the notice now given them, and pay up at once. For private sale Mr Andrew Luff, of Wellington, advertises 60 head of lirst class cattle consisting of cows in milk, cows to calve, young stock (say from 2-months to 2-years) bulls and heifers well bred (part Ayrshire, part- Jersey, and pure bred) also pure bred Ayrshire cows. Cobbo and Darragh havo a big ac cumulation of remnants of calicoes, drosses, shirtings, prints, flannelettes, and other materials, all of which they have marked much under oidinary prices being determined to get rid of tho lot. — Advt.
