NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order will be proposed and confirmed at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board to be held on SATURDAY, the llth day of February, 1893, viz :— That it is the intention of the Manchester Road Board, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act. 1 886," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand dated the 21st day of July, 1892, authorising the Manchester Road Board to construct a Bridge over the Oroua River, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, to borrow the sum of £1042 for the purpose of providing five-twelfths of the cost oi erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Oroua River at Aorangi on the Feild-ing-Bunnythorpe Road, and making the approaches thereto, and all othei work necessary for the due completion of the said Bridge, in accordance with the above-mentioned warrant ; and tbat at Special Rate of one-fiftieth ol a penny in the £ be made upon tht rateable value of the whole of tht Rateable Property (Crown and Nativt lands occupied by Native owners c.v cepted) within the Manchester Roac District for the purpose of paying tin interest on the above loan of £1042 to be borrowed under "The Govern ment Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886," such Rate to be an annual re curring rate for 26 years, and payable in equal instalments, at the Board') office on the first day of April and Oc tober in each year.
