The New Zealand Laan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable message from their London office:— Frozen meats — Meat market weaker; price of mutton has declined |-d per Ib since last report. > T ew Zealand beef— There is a rather better demand. Forequarters are worth Sifd per Ib ; hindquarters, 3|d. Taliow is in uood demand ; fine mutton is worth 29a per ewt ; good beef, 26* 9d.
