Local Industry
♦ Mr D. Black has started a brick yard on the Kimbolton road, which promises to develope into a most successful business enterprise. The area of workable ground contains between four and five acres, the clay being six feet thick. In fact, it is oi such «iceptionally good quality, that the clay is capable of being used for all descriptions of pottery ware, such as drain pipes, flower pots etc. There is an abundant supply of sand and water on the ground and the liver flows close to it. We wish Mr Black every success in his venture, and judging from the sample of the bricks sent to us, there can be no question of Mr Black's skill, and the quality of the material he has to work on.
