Land Tax Revenue
(PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, This Day. The result of the collection of the Land Tax will not be known till Thursday, to morrow being the last day on which it can be paid without a fine of an additional 10 per cent. The Absentee Tax will yield a very small return owing to a large number of those ranked aa absentees having been in the colony within the last three years, which is suffcient to protect them.
