Mrs Sandilands adyertises for a general servant. Notice is given to-day of the transfer of section 9, Block XI, from Mr Thomas Hennelly, to Mr John Humphrey. The Pemberton Hotel will be open for business on Thursday next. Mr Dickson the proprietor, has a notice in to-day. Mr Charles Dahl, the well known tentmaker, &c, of Palmerston North, has an urgent notice in to-day, to which we direct the immediate attention of farmers, At the Feilding auction mart, Fergusson street, Messrs Gorton and Son will hold a sale of unredeemed pledges on Thursday the 22nd instant. For other particulars see advertisement. Mr William Pearson has a new advertisement in this day's issue, from which it will be seen that he is offering discounts for cash during the Christmas holidays. Mr Pearson has also large consignments of goods earning to hand, and some wonderful bargains may be picked up,
