Volunteer Items
Members of the Manchester Bifles are reminded of the parade this evening at 7.15, The company will fall iv opposite the Assembly Booms. There will be a few vacancies in the Manchester Bifles at the end of the year, and intending recruits are requested to send in their names as soon as possible, to the Officer Commanding the corps. The prize firing of the Manchester Bifles took place yesterday at the range. There was a strong wind blowing. The prizes competed for were a clock presented by ex-Captain Bailey, a cup by Mr Wollerman and a medal by Mr McGee. Corporal Fanthorpe secured a leg-in for the the trophies.
