Messrs F. B. Jackson and Co., report at the Feilding sale yesterday : -Only a a small sale being advertised the attendance was limited. Cattle sold at recent prices 18* months mixed, £2 14s ; cows and calves, £4 10s 6d ; weaners, 29s to 345 ; yearlings, £2 12s 6d to £2 15s ; store wethers, 10s 6d to 11s 3d; fat wethers, 11s 9d ; fat ewes, 10s ; ewes and lambs in wool, 13s lid ; shorn ewes and lambs, 10s 6d ; shorn ewes and lambs all counted ss. At the conclusion of the sale Mr F. E. Jackson informed those present that this was the last sale he would hold in these yards, the firm having sold their interest in Feilding, Birmingham, and Falmerston to the Farmers' Alliance, but mentioned his firm still retained their Wanganm, Wayerley, Otaki, and Johnsonville sale yards. He thanked the farmers for the patronage the firm had received for so many years and stated that he had always done the best in his power to benefit both the vendor and the purchaser, and hoped the same support would be accorded to the Farmers' Alliance who would be represeated by Mr E. B. McKenzie. Three hearty cheers were given Mr Jackson at the conclusion of his address, for which he returned his grateful thanks.
