Feildmg State School

The ordinary monthly meeting of the committee of the aboye school was held yesterday evening. Present Messrs Lethbridge, (chairman) Carthew, Curtis, Taylor, C Worstold, Thompson, Shearer, and Dr Sorley. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The school closes for the Christmas holidays on the 17th inst, and re-opens on the 24th of January, 1893 Resolved, that the committee agree to the alteration in the teaching stuff,- as suggested by the Board. The committee decided to give prizes to the children with the best records for school attendance, each member of the committee contributing. Resolved, that each member of ihe Committee be supplied with a collecting sheet for the purpose of raising funds for the annual picnic. Accounts amounting to L 8 5s were passed for payment, and the Committee then adjourned.
