♦ Messrs Gorton and Son report on their sale at' Bulls yesterday as follows :— Our stock sale yesterday was well attended, the entries of cattle were far more than advertised and large entries of sheep came forward. The bidding was spirited, the sale brisk, and satisfactory prices were realised. Our quotations are: — CattleBeef : Bullocks and cows, £6 6s 6d ; fat cows, £4 11s to £5 2s; forward cows, £4 Is; store cows, £3 16s to £3 18s; 3-year heifers, £3 15s; 2-year heifers, £2 16s; 18-months. mixed, £2 Ids; weaners, 31s to £2; milkers, £5 te £5 17s. Sheep.— Fat shorn wethers, 12s 6d ; store wethers, 10s to 10s 9d ; shorn 2-tooth wethers, 12s, woolly 2-tooth, mixed, 14 sto 14s 8d ; woolly 4 and 6tooth wethers, 15s 2d ; woolly ewes and lambs, lls 6d ; fat lambs, 7s 9d.
