Gollan'B horse Tirailleur by Musket — Florence McCarty, who fell over Fortsea in the Melbourne Cup and was subsequently placed in slings in the V.E.C. Hospital box owing to serious injury to the shoulder, died yesterday, Auckland, November 5. Merganser is a pronounced favourite for the Auckland Gup, three to one being taken. Cynisca has been scratched.
