An Australian Tragedy

(PBB PRMS ASSOCIATION). ; , Melboubn^ November 15. An exciting affair, which ended tragically, took place at Fitzroy today. A man named Davies, armed with two revolvers and a dagger, proceeded to the Tramway Shed to find Foulton, (with whom he had quarelled), and opened fire, but without success. A hue and" cry was raised, and" Davies was chased through the streets, firing frequently on his pursuers, one of whom was wounded. Poulton was also slightly wounded. . The police attempted to effect the infuriated man's capture, but Davies kept them at bay while he swallowed a dose of prussic acid, which resulted in his immediate death. ■■.;■■■.•■;■••
