« The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated llth instant. : — Frozen Meat — Mutton market is quiet. Canterbury mutton is worth 4£d, and Wellington mutton 3^d per lb. Beef market is dull ; forequarters and hindquarters are worth 3|d per lb. Quotations nominal. Tallow —The finer sorts alone are in demand, common qualities being neglected. Fine mutton is worth 27s 3d, and good beef tallow 25s per cwt.
