Veteran Stakes, of 300 soys; H miles. — Litigant 1, Goldreef 2, Clonard 3. Fourteen horses started. Tirailleur, it turns out, fractured his shoulder when he stumbled in the Cup race, but Allen entertains hopes of bringing him round. Camoola's saddle split in half during the race for the Cup.
