Captain Edwin telegraphs : — Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day — Warnings for northerly gales and rain have been sent to all places. An impounding notice appears elsewhere. Additions are made to-day to Messrs F. It. Jackson and Co.'s Feilding sale. Mr Carthew has just received the largest consignment of books ever imported into Feilding. Mr Little, of Makino, advertises for a couple of good shearers. Tenders are invited by Mr G. C. Hill, Town Clerk, for forming and metalling a portion of Warwick street. Mr John Pawson, the nightwatchman, has left a silver spoon, gold washed, at this office. Owner may have the same on application and paying expenses. Train services for the Prince of Wales Birthday and the Palmerston A. and P. Show, are published on our third page. Intending excursionists will observe that the concessions are very liberal.
