Terrible Railway Accident

8 PERSONS KILLED— SO INJURED. (per press association. I London, November 2. The Scotch express, travelling southwards, came into collision with a goods train in the Manor House siding, and all but two carriages were completely con» sumed by a fire which broke out. Eight persons were killed and eleven injured, and it is feared several others perished in the flames. The sufferers were taken to Firsk Hospital. The accident oc-« curred during a fog, when the train was running a mile per minute. Lords Tweedale and Huntley, who were asleep in a Pulman car, had a narrow escape. Fifty persons were injured by a collision on the Mersey railway
