We quote— Roller flour, £10 5s to £10 12s 6d for sacks ; stone process. £9 5s to £9 10s ;bran 70s to 755 ; pollard, 85s ; whole fowls' wheat, 2s 5d to 2s 8d ; prime short oats, 2s 3£d to 2s 4d ; long feed, 2s 2d to 2s 3d , oaten sheaf chaff, 85s to 90s ; oalmeai, £10 to £11; maize, 3s; beans, 3s 8d; seed barley, 2s 7d to 2s 8d ; peal barlej; £16 ; split peas, £15 ; blue peas, 3s 9d. The sale of grass seeds has now almost ceased ; prime onions are worth £16 per tou ; carrots, £2 ; Swede turnips, £2 10s ; Uerwent potatoes (prime). 40s ; fair quality 355 ; eggs are easier, and sales hare been made at 8d to SM per doz ; fresh butter is coming plentifully to hand, and dairy commands Bd. separator 9d per ib; hams and bacon, 6£d ; prime factory cheese, old sjd. new s£d. The demand for poultrj shows a perceptible falling off, and quotations are, fowls 3s 6d. ducks 4s, geese 5s 6d. and turkeys 6s per pair. The fruit market is in a healthy condition, prices having increased as supplies reduced. Oranges are worth 9s to 10s ; lemons, 6s to 7s ; apples, 8s to 8s 61 ; rhubarb, 4s tid to 5s per doz ; new potatoes, round, Id per lb; asparagus, 5s per doz. We look for very little fruit during the coming week.
