_ — ♦ . Messrs Gorton and Son held a very successful stock sale at Bulls ou Tuesday. There were good entries, and bidding was animated, the yards being cleared. Annexed are the prices realised :— 4- year bullocks, £5 9s 6d ; 3-year steers, £4 Is to £4 148 ; %to 3-year steers, £4 6s 6d ; 18-month to 2-year steers, £2 19s 6d ; weaners, 22s 6d to 295; store cows, £3 7s ; 2-year steers, £2 17s to £3 3s 6d ; forward cows, £4 5s 6d; 2 to 2-J year heifers, £3 10s 6d ; ewe hoggets, Us to 12s 9d ; wether hoggets, lOs od to 12s 6d ; mixed hoggets, 12s 6d; mixed fat sheen, 13s 7d to 14s 7d; shorn fat sheep, 10s 9dMessrs F. R. Jackson and Co. report on their Johnsonville sale as follows : — Fat cattle, in full numbers, kept late values. Sheep were plentiful ; shorn wethers, light, 12s 2d ; wethers in wooL 17s Id to 18s 9d ; prime sorts, 20 to 22s ; extra weight, 23s to 26s 6d ; fat ewes r 14s to 16s 3d. Lambi, medium quality, were in limited demand at 7s to 8s 10d. No pigs came to hand.
