(Continuedfromlastis.ue.) Proposed by Mr Dickin, seconded by Mr Richards, That the applications of G. H. HumVJ. W. Copithorne, A. A. Brown, W. W. Corpe, and W. Vickary be granted tor permission to fell the bush ou the road lines fronting their respective sections, provided that the charge is the actual cost, and not exceeding 80s per acre. That everything be felled sfcunop high the full width of the road, that a track, if any, be kept open, and that the, account be paid when the Board is in funds, and the work has been passed by its Engineer. That these be the terms on which the felling oi all road lines under the Board's jurisdiction be let to private individuals.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Dickin, seconded by Mr Burton, That the slips on No. 3 line, and in front of section No. 22, Main road, Not 2 Ward, be cleared, providing the peraons undertaking to do the work are willing to wait until the Board is in a position to pay for same.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Burton, seconded by Mr Arbon, That the: Board is not in any way prepared to rescind the former motion re advertisements.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Arbon, seconded by Mr Burton, That fresh tenders be called for Engineer to the Board, at per cent per year, on the amount spent by the Board, the Engineer to find everything that he requires re Engineering.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Lucas, seconded by Mr Burton, That Mr Goodbehere be appointed by the Board at salary of L6O per annum, as Secretary and Collector of rates, including an Office for holding the Board's meeting. This agreement to be terminable on the Board's moving its offices from Feilding.— Carried. The Board then adjourned until the 2nd Saturday in November.
