Death of Mr John Walkley
(per press association.) Wellington, This Day. I Mr John Walkley, a well-known hotel keeper, late of Palmerston North, died rather suddenly at six this morning. He came down by the late train last night and complained of feeling unwell and being unable to sit down he stood the whole journey. He was suffering from an internal complaint and had been in indifferent health for some time.
